From a Tiny Apartment to 14 Countries
2014
The Spark
Two college friends, a shared laptop, and a crazy idea: what if we could build brands that actually matter? Nabeel and Bilal started freelancing from a tiny apartment in Islamabad. No office, no clients, no plan — just raw talent and stubbornness.
2016
First Real Office
After two years of grinding on Fiverr and Upwork, the reviews started piling up. We rented a two-room office, hired our first designer, and finally had a name: Dev Cubix. The logo? A red cube drawn on a napkin that somehow stuck.
2018
The Pivot
We were doing everything — logos, WordPress sites, app mockups. It was chaos. Then a client from London asked us to redesign their entire SaaS product. That one project changed everything. We went all-in on UI/UX and never looked back.
2019
Going Global
Word spread. Suddenly we had clients in the US, UK, UAE, and Australia. Zeerak joined as our business partner to handle the growth we couldn't keep up with. We moved to a proper studio and started hiring like our future depended on it — because it did.
2020
The Year Everything Changed
While the world locked down, our demand exploded. Every business needed to go digital, and they needed it yesterday. We scaled from 8 to 22 people in a single year. Remote work became our superpower — half our team still works from home.
2022
500 Clients Deep
Hamza came on board to lead design operations. We launched dedicated teams for Presentation Design, Webflow & Framer, and expanded our dev stack to Next.js, React, and Node. Hit 500 clients served — mostly through word-of-mouth.
2024
AI or Die
We saw the AI wave coming and jumped in headfirst. Built our own RAG-powered chatbot system, started offering AI integration services, and launched custom LLM solutions for clients. If it involves AI and design, we do it.
2026
900+ & Counting
Today we're a 40+ person team across 7 departments, serving clients in 14 countries. We've shipped 900+ projects and maintained a 4.9 rating. The red cube napkin sketch? Still on Nabeel's desk.
